As an adjunct to off  loading the bunion with the right orthotic and shoe, it is advisable to keep the small muscles in the feet strong and active buy doing these bunion exercises. You can also wear a splint for a couple of hours a day to help stretch tight ligaments. Wearing a toe separator when wearing shoe also helps.
