Darlinghurst Near Podiatrist

Training should not leave you limping through work or avoiding the stairs. ModPod Podiatry is at Suite 506, 66 Hunter Street, Sydney NSW 2000, about 24 minutes on foot from Darlinghurst. We help active people with foot, ankle and lower-leg pain

For the way you train

Darlinghurst has gyms, group classes and easy access to the Domain and Hyde Park. You may run before work, train at CrossFit or F45, or fit a session in after a day in the city. Fast changes in training load, hills and hard paths can test the calves, shins and feet.

We look at your symptoms, training, shoes and gait. You get a clear explanation of what we find and a plan built around your next goal, whether that is a run, a class or a pain-free walk to Kings Cross.

Problems we often assess

Achilles tendinopathy

Achilles pain may start as morning stiffness, a sore spot at the back of the ankle or pain when you push off. Hills, jumps, sprint work and sudden changes in running can all increase load. We assess the tendon and help you work out what exercise and training changes may help.

Shin splints

Pain along the shin can make running and jumping feel hard. We check your training pattern, footwear, strength and lower-limb movement. The aim is to identify the source of stress before you keep pushing through it.

Ankle sprains

A rolled ankle is not always a simple injury. If it stays swollen, unstable or painful, an assessment can help you understand what needs attention. We can guide your return to walking, gym work and sport.

Sports orthotics

Sports orthotics may help with support and load management in the right situation. We assess your sport shoes and how you move before deciding whether they suit you.
