Foot Care In Mosman
Our Mosman clinic sits on Harbour Street, just off Military Road and a short walk from Spit Junction and The Spit. Established over 20 years ago, the clinic has served the lower north shore with consistent, evidence-based podiatry care. GPs, dermatologists and sports physicians across Sydney refer patients to our Mosman team.
We treat everything from heel pain and ingrown toenails to complex biomechanical issues and children’s foot concerns. No referral is needed — you can book online or call us direct. Saturday appointments are available from 8am. We accept all major health funds on the spot with HICAPS, and patients with a GP referral under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan can access Medicare rebates.
Not sure what’s wrong with your feet? You don’t need a diagnosis to book. Our podiatrists will assess and identify the problem at your first appointment. If you’re in pain, that’s enough reason to come in.
The clinic is equipped with a treadmill for gait and biomechanical assessments. This gives our podiatrists objective data to guide diagnosis and treatment — particularly useful for runners, active patients and children with developing gait patterns.
Children's Podiatry Mosman
Children’s foot and leg concerns are the most common reason families visit our Mosman clinic. We see children from their first steps through to their teenage years.
- Flat feet — most children have flat feet, but some need treatment if pain, fatigue or tripping are involved
- Toe walking — persistent toe walking beyond age 3 can affect calf development and balance
- In-toeing (pigeon toes) — often related to hip rotation or foot position, and usually monitored rather than braced
- Growing pains — lower limb pain in active children, particularly at night or after sport
- Sever’s disease — heel pain in children aged 8 to 14, common in kids who play running sports
- Children’s ingrown toenails — we offer conservative care and nail surgery for recurring cases
- Gait concerns — parents often ask “is this normal?” and a gait assessment gives a clear answer
Our podiatrists assess gait and development and provide age-appropriate treatment. Trent Baker has particular expertise in paediatric podiatry and has worked with children across the lower north shore for over 24 years. We also prescribe children’s orthotics when needed.
If your child has foot pain, walks differently to other kids, or you just want a professional opinion on their development — book an assessment. No referral is needed.
Podiatry Services Mosman
Our podiatrists work with athletes and weekend warriors across the lower north shore. Whether you’re managing shin splints, Achilles pain, a stress fracture or a running injury, we assess movement patterns and build a treatment plan around your activity goals.
We prescribe and fit custom orthotic devices based on a thorough biomechanical assessment. Our treadmill captures data during walking and running to guide orthotic design. We also fit children’s orthotics and can adjust devices as your child grows.
Ingrown toenails are one of the most common reasons people visit our Mosman clinic. We offer conservative care and minor nail surgery under local anaesthetic for recurring cases.
Thickened, discoloured nails are often caused by fungal infection. We provide visual diagnosis, topical therapy and laser treatment at our Mosman clinic. If pharmacy creams haven’t worked, laser reaches the infection under the nail where topical products can’t.
Heel pain is one of the most frequent presentations we see. We identify the cause — whether plantar fasciitis, fat pad irritation or Achilles tendinopathy — and tailor treatment to get you moving again
It is important to emphasize that a timely diagnosis of Bunions can decrease the chance of needing more aggressive treatments.
Sharp, burning pain in the ball of your foot may be Morton’s neuroma. We use padding, orthotics and footwear advice to reduce pressure on the affected nerve
A clinical-grade foot treatment performed by a qualified podiatrist. We address callus, hard skin and nail care in a sterile clinical environment.
Common Conditions We Treat
Our Mosman podiatrists see a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions every week. Heel pain and plantar fasciitis are among the most common, along with ingrown toenails that need professional care. We treat fungal nail infections with both topical therapy and laser, corns, callus and warts as part of routine general podiatry.
Patients also visit for bunion assessment, flat feet, Achilles tendon issues, hammertoes, sesamoiditis and Morton’s neuroma. For children, we manage growing pains, Sever’s disease, toe walking and gait concerns. If you need orthotics in Mosman, we offer full biomechanical assessments and custom-made devices. Sports injuries, running injuries, lower limb pain and post-surgical rehabilitation are also part of our regular caseload.
If you’ve been going to another podiatrist and things aren’t improving, a second opinion can help. We see patients at all stages — from first-time visits to complex ongoing cases.
